Major Autism Event to be Held in Tampa, Florida

The beautiful Florida Aquarium will be transformed into the catalyst for raising funds for imperative autism research and education, on the evening of Thursday April 15th, 2010 from 6pm - 10pm.

The International Center for Autism Research and Education (Icare4autism) has just announced that they will be holding a major event in Tampa, Florida. The event, Icare4autism 2010: Cocktail Gala, will be held from 6pm-10pm on the evening of Thursday April 15th.

The gala is expected to attract approximately 3,000 attendees to the Florida Aquarium for an altruistic evening of memories. The event will feature celebrity appearances, a luxury auction, live music and complementary wine tasting.

Most importantly, the event will raise awareness and funds for Autism Research and Education for the neurological disorder that affects 1 in 91 children, 1 in 58 boys. These numbers are up 59% since 2002.

Founder and President, Joshua Weinstein, says “By attending this event, the residents of the Tampa Bay area have the opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of 1 in 91 children.”

This is the same non-profit who has been consistently coming up in professional chatter for their upcoming 2010 International Autism Conference, to be held in Israel at The Ramada-Jerusalem on July 5th and 6th, 2010. The conference is acting as a significant bridge builder of knowledge by bringing the 30 top autism professionals to one place to speak, share and collaborate under the elite Icare4autism network.
