We are delighted that Eileen Hopkins has joined the dedicated team at ICare4Autism. Eileen’s career has been dedicated to autism advocacy and the welfare of people with ASD. Starting work in one of the UK’s first schools for children with autism she discovered a lifelong fascination with autism. She joined the NAS UK via the Board and was Director of Development and National Services for 16 years before joining Autistica, the UK’s leading autism research funder as Special Advisor Autism, policy and practice. She joins ICare4Autism at a particularly exciting time for the organization with ICare4Autism responding to the many international requests for support and help. Eileen’s role will cover this work and as Director of Global Initiatives she will also be in development, responsible for work with the WHO, the Global Workforce Initiatives and the development of services internationally.
