The Autism News | English By Amanda Williams THE mother of an autistic man from Abingdon has vowed to end the discrimination she claims her son faces on a daily basis. Dr Rosetta Kingston said her son Peter, 38, who has Asperger’s Syndrome, a form of autism, had been attacked in the street and regularly thrown out of public places because of a misunderstanding of his condition. She said Asperger’s Syndrome was ‘a hidden disability’ because the condition was not recognisable from a person’s outward appearance, although sufferers found it difficult to understand gestures, facial expressions or tone of voice
