Exclusive footage from the private event, ‘Network for a Cause’ is now being released to the public. The exclusive footage shows popular professionals in the entertainment, media and fashion industries as they came together to raise mone autism research.

The behind-the-scenes footage was filmed at a fundraiser for the International Center for Autism Research and Education ( Icare4autism). This benefit that was held for the leading non-profit autism research organization was hosted in part by the Young Jewish Professionals (YJP). The evening was aimed to allow select young professionals to “give back” and positively affect society.

The event, which took place in late 2009, was also seen in the headlines and gossip pages for its popular Event Committee Members. The committee included such entertainment insiders as Michael Mottola and Missy Modell.

The footage gives viewers an inside peek at the exclusive night’s honorary guests: Ken Sunshine of Sunshine, Sachs & Assoc.’s, and Matthew Hiltzik of Hiltzik Strategies.

In this never-before-seen footage, Hiltzik is seen taking the time to address an Icare4autism reporter. He thanked the organizations for their support and donations as ‘Network for a Cause’ continues to make a difference in autism research to this day.

When interviewed in regards to this event, Icare4autism Founder and President, Joshua Weinstein, described the organization by proudly stating:

“Our goal is to become the catalyst that drives collaborations among similar institutions globally.”

Weinstein continued by saying that Icare4autism is “searching to discover the causes and to provide hope for parents and children with autism.”

 

Event Details

As seen in the video, ‘Network for a Cause’ featured a special wine tasting, sponsored by Royal Wine Company, courtesy of the Herzog family. Featured wines for the tasting were valued at 40 dollars per bottle. This generous donation was the perfect addition to the premium open bar and scrumptious appetizers. The exclusive event also included a performance by a world-class DJ who filled the room with high-energy music.

Throughout the night, a luxury silent auction was underway. Lucky guests could bid on such exclusive items as: Yankee Tickets, Mets Tickets, David Letterman Tickets, the Jonas Brothers Band Limited Edition Masterpiece Collage, and a coveted Twilight Limited Edition Movie Masterpiece Collage. Also up for grabs were experience packages, which included: a swimming clinic with Olympic champion Michael Phelps, a football clinic with Giants’ wide receiver Steve Smith, a VIP tour of Yankee Stadium with a former Yankees World Series Champion, and a VIP tour of Madison Square Garden with Rangers forward Sean Avery.

When the festivities came to an end, all guests received a Luxury Gift Bag valued at over 350 dollars from Icare4autism. Each fabulous gift-bag included the following items: Two gift certificates to Bare Spa for laser hair removal and waxing, cosmetics by Estée Lauder, a gift card for Stir Lounge, Sonu bottled water, discount cards to Manhattan Judaica and more!
