Columbia University Announces 2010 Autism Conference
The Center for Opportunities and Outcomes for People with Disabilities, in collaboration with the Leonard and Francis Blackman Lecture Series at Teachers College, Columbia University has announced a two-day autism conference. This conference is their 4th Annual Conference, and is entitled “Mind and Body in Autism.” The conference will bring together an interdisciplinary panel of experts. The panel will feature educators, psychologists, and physicians. The panel aims to address the challenges facing persons with autism spectrum disorders and their families.
The Conference also features the Leonard and Frances Blackman Lecture Series
The event will be held on April 16th and 17th, 2010. Each day begins at 9: 30 a.m. and ends at 4:45 p.m. This event is available for 3.0 CEUs. The autism conference is also available for non-credit, CEU. The Program Director for this event is Linda Hickson, Ph.D., Professor of Education
